When we look at what clothes we wear, why do we really wear them? Is it the design, the colour, because all your mates wear it, or just because you look cool in it? Well, forget all that - Mr Hole is all about you, the modern man who likes being around his mates, loves taking the Mickey when they do something stupid. It’s about mates being mates.
Let me tell you a story. Years ago I use to spend a lot of time riding motorbikes, drinking, going out to have a great time. When I got home one particular day I was harassed by my partner. Where have you been, why weren’t you home earlier, what about me... blah blah blah, we have all heard haven't we lads?!
After carrying on about my whereabouts for a while my partner said to me "you are nothing but an arsehole". I'm sure we've all heard this many times, right? Not long after that, one of my mates heard my partner giving me a spray and she dropped the magic word again, and he turned to me and said "You’re nothing but a Hole, a Mr Hole". From that point on I couldn't get that saying out of my head. When my partner would call me an arsehole, the first thing that came to mind was 'Mr Hole'.
I thought "wouldn't it be great to wear this idea right on my shirt, so when I walk down the street and I see another guy wearing Mr Hole, we could look at each other and say to ourselves, 'Yes mate, we enjoy being with our mates and having a great time'... A bit like a boys club, and the only members are you and I, wearing something that truly has meaning".
For 10 years Mr Hole was only an idea. In 2009 the brand became a reality. Today Mr hole is designing cutting edge clothing that is comfortable to wear.
